San Francisco is a bursting city with many popular tourist attractions. It also boasts some of the worlds best shopping, all in all a prefect layover for crew. One of the biggest surprises is that the city is quite small covering only 49 square miles. Thankfully most of the tourist attractions are within a much smaller area than that, so walk whenever you can. Not only is it the best way to really see the city, it's good exercise and inexpensive. Despite San Francisco's reputation for hills, the waterfront is perfectly flat, and most of Chinatown and North Beach is an easy walk, too.
“I will be back” once said by San Francisco’s famous governor, and after sampling what San Francisco has to offer many will be doing just that.
