Naturally, as the name implies, ‘alpha’ at Le Méridien Village will be in a class of it’s own here in the UAE where nightclub entertainment is concerned. Le Méridien Dubai is Set amidst 38 acres of lush gardens, strategically positioned just minutes away from the commercial & shopping centers of the city and in close proximity to Dubai International Airport.

The 10,000 sq ft venue is clad in marble, and is redolent with visual & spatial class thanks to the high ceilings and powerful Greek style columns throughout the in and outdoor space. The ground floor will accommodate approximately 600 party goers, where precious dancefloor space will not be cluttered with tables and chairs; rather friendly like-minded people looking for the ‘alpha’ experience that has previously been missing in their social lives. Adding to this, an outdoor garden area will provide the ‘alpha’ population with a place to watch the stars and discuss the dawn of their newest social hangout. Upstairs will house three VIP rooms, each differing in size, catering for a crowd (or individual of course) who need the exclusivity and privacy, with privileged table service and elevated views over the dance floor, and on to the roof top terrace (through the huge glass panels). The roof top terrace will accommodate approximately 100 individuals, and act as the perfect relaxation spot away from (but not too far away) the sounds of the club, and is set to contain a studio used for radio broadcasts and artist interviews, all visible to the clientele chilling out on the roof.

The Alpha club carries an aura of the unexpected; working on an antique canvas, inspired by Greek architecture, a spectacular space is created when it meets an upbeat mix of bright colours, contemporary shapes and rich materials.
Indoor design; set against pale marble and historical Greek sculptures we apply a backdrop of deep purple velvet drapery and heavy patterned wallpaper. Classical furniture is dressed up in glossy black lacquer and vibrant fabrics, old chandeliers find new life when they are seen through acid lime tinted acrylic boxes, with multicolored contemporary box furniture highlighting every corner.

The outdoor garden area is built on the philosophy of less is more, with creative seating furniture shaped out of old white painted pallets and weather-beaten wood, sheer curtains made of fishnet and the large scattered bean bags. The feel is relaxed, chilled and comfortable.

The ‘alpha’ management have take sound very seriously indeed, by installing a full FunKtion 1 sound system provided by AMB Group, the UAE’s official FunKtion 1 supplier, which will be endorsed by it’s UK founder and chief engineer, Tony Andrews. The loudspeaker system is known for it’s incredible clarity and punch, and ‘alpha’ will act as the first fully fledged showcase venue for the UAE, with the system already proving it’s worth in world class night spots like Space in Ibiza, Cielo in New York, and Stealth in Nottingham (UK) just to name a few. To compliment the awesome power of FunKtion 1, acoustic sound scientists (advanced acoustic research) have been brought in to create the perfect sound reproduction, a step never undertaken by any UAE nightclub or venue. An impressive DJ booth will influence the heart of this system with all the latest in DJ’ing technological advances, and more FunKtion 1 sound with 2 custom fit DJ booth monitors. For light, ‘alpha’ will become a synchronised wash of deep colours, with state of the art LED lighting, the emphasis on subtlety, shutting out the traditional philosophy of moving heads and flashing lights, synonymous with UAE nightclubs and venues.
